$5K scholarship up for grabs for Hillsborough, Pasco students | News
The Right FitT Foundation has announced its first annual $5,000 scholarship for Tampa-area high school students.
To qualify, students must be a US Citizen, a resident of Pasco or Hillsborough counties, and have a weighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher. Applicants must also attend one of the Foundation's free college admission and financial aid classes. Two will be offered in September at the Jimmie Keel Library which students can sign up for at the link above.
Finalists may be interviewed. One scholarship will be awarded per year.
The deadline for application is January 15, 2013, and the winner will be notified March 15, 2013.
The Right FitT Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3), dedicated to educating families about the college admission and financial aid process.
