Hillsborough math League-ers to compete | Events
Hillsborough County, Florida-- Tomorrow at the Florida State Fairgrounds, more than 500 sixth, seventh, and eighth graders will compete in a district wide mathematics competition.
According to the Hillsborough County School District, math league starts with an individual competition consisting of 25 multiple choice questions followed by a team event, at 9:30 a.m.
Then, team rounds begin at 10:30 a.m., with trophies to be awarded at 1 p.m.
The top individual and team scores for each grade, determined by a combination of individual and team competition scored, will be recognized with trophies.
The district says the school with the highest score for all grade levels combined will be awarded the district champion trophy.
