Gas station robberies plague 2 counties | Crime

Pasco County, Florida -- Pasco County Sheriff's deputies are investigating two armed robberies Wednesday morning.
Authorities say the first robbery occurred at the 7-Eleven in the 23000 block of SR 54 in Land O' Lakes. Around 2 a.m., two black men with hoodies and masks reportedly threatened a clerk and left with an undisclosed amount of money.
The second occurred at the Circle K in the 27000 block of SR 54 in Wesley Chapel around 2:20 a.m. One black man with a hoodie and mask entered the store armed with a handgun and held up the clerks. He then left with an undisclosed amount of money.
No injuries were reported.
The sheriff's office says they believe these robberies are related to at least seven cases in Pasco and Hillsborough counties. They have released photos of an armed robbery on Feb. 12 at Abraham's Quickmart on SR 52 in Zephyrhills at 10 p.m.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'7", 140 pounds, and was seen wearing a dark gray hoodie, jeans, and a bandana covering his face. Authorities say they believe this man is part of a group who is responsible for the two robberies that occurred early this morning.
Anyone with information on these robberies, or the identity of the man pictured, is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
