Annual 'Honor Day' this Saturday | Community Spirit

Wesley Chapel, Florida-- The annual 'Honor Day' for all African American Honor Roll students of Pasco County is scheduled for Saturday, May 26 2012.

According to the African American Club of Pasco, the "Citizens Concerned for Students" under the leadership of Pastor Mitchell Davis have sponsored an event recognizing the achievements of African American students in Pasco County since the 70s. 

This year's event begins at 5:00p.m., and takes place at the Center for the Arts Auditorium At Wesley Chapel High School, 30651 Wells Road Wesley Chapel, Florida, 33545.

Each student in grades 6-12 who made the Honor Roll for either one of the first three reporting periods is invited to attend and receive a certificate of recognition.

Families, friends, neighbors and fellow classmates are invited also!

The celebration is open to the public and refreshments will be served following the program.
